Mission

Our Mission

The conflict in Syria has inflicted unimaginable suffering one its most vulnerable population: children. Caught in the crossfire of violence, these innocent souls have witnessed and endured horror that no child should ever experience. The repercussions of the ongoing conflict have left a devastating mark on their lives, robbing them of their childhood and their basic rights to safety, education and health.

Our primary mission is to establish one of the largest orphanages in Syria, dedicated to supporting the children who have been the most affected by the ongoing conflict. By providing a safe haven, we aim to offer not only shelter but also a nurturing environment where these children can receive education, medical care, and psychological support. Our goal is to ensure that every child in our care has the opportunity to grow in a secure and loving environment, enabling them to overcome the traumas of war and rebuild their hope for a brighter future.

The importance of this project cannot be overstated. The devastating impact of the Syrian conflict has left countless children without families, homes, or a sense of stability. These children face not just physical risks, but also deep emotional and psychological scars.
Establishing a large-scale orphanage is crucial in providing these vulnerable children with the consistent care and support they need to heal and thrive. Through your support, we can bring transformative changes to their lives, offering a foundation of stability and care that every child deserves.

According to UNICEF, over 5.6 million children are in need of humanitarian assistance in Syria.

Impact on Children

Loss of innocence

Countless Syrian children have witnessed the destruction of their homes, the loss of loved ones and the constant threat of violence. The trauma they endure robs them of their innocence and leaves lasting emotional scars.

Displacement

The conflict has forced millions of Syrians to flee their homes in search of safety.
Children make up a significant portion of these displaced populations. Facing the harsh realities of refugee camps where access to food, clean water and medical care is often limited.

Healthcare crisis

Access to healthcare has become increasingly challenging in war-torn Syria.
Children suffer from malnutrition, preventable diseases and injuries sustained in conflict. The lack of medical supplies and facilities further exacerbates their suffering, with many unable to receive life-saving treatment

Education disruption

The education system in Syria has been severely disrupted, with many schools damaged or destroyed. Teachers have been forced to flee, resulting in millions of Syrian children being out of school. This deprives them of their right to education in hopes of a better future, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and radicalisation.

More than 2.4 million children in Syria are living as refugees in neighbouring countries.

Over 90% of Syrian children show signs of distress such as: bedwetting, nightmares and aggression. The conflict has lead to a significant increase in child labour and early marriage among Syrian refugee children.

The plight of these children affected by the war is a humanitarian crisis that demands urgent attention and support. As we strive to alleviate their suffering and rebuild their shattered lives, let us stand together in solidarity and offer hope, compassion and a brighter future for these resilient young souls.
